What made Kaleidovision become serious?

Homeboy

Record companies are afraid to launch an unknown band globally just in Spanish. Kaleidovision is about going back to the beginning idea Spanish, not surfy music, but crossing it over to the international language English. The current album and single that is under production, was collaborated with band writers Hank and Jason placing Susans and my thoughts to music. We gave Hank and Jason key words, "ocean, violence, racism, laughter, and relationships", they wrote the music around the keywords. Very sad at the world, pre 9 11 and post 9 11 all rolled together with some covers thrown in. In the end, we sort advice from Rodney Jerkins and Robi Rosa then we asked our keyboard players Gay Paris and daGenie to make those ideas materialize. There is another side to the music very optimistic, positive energy introducing intimacy on the vocal sounds with the album. We tried to look for the difference between countries instead of the similarities.

How can you change world peace?

Susan

Kaleidovision belongs to a group of people (band member), with a particular insistence and zeal with reality. We needed to expand the band so we searched for many months for a couple of new people giving people chances trying to obtain the right combination of people that had that aura. It was doing our heads in, and finally had the right people aura. You have to have coverage to talk about your dreams and be positive even when going through the worst of things. In reality, positivists are the dreams of the people from every country. Instead of having peace sanctions, we as human beings should have more of an understanding. What is Peace? What is freedom? The definition of Peace and Freedom to us is Silence where across the world you turn on cable TV, free to air TV, newspaper reporters are all out of work, because they dont have violence to report. Can we as a human race achieve that sort of freedom? Yes, we can, it takes intelligence, wisdom, and being at peace within our selves, knowing our selves, controlling insecurities and educating the planet, with only one government in rule over the planet. We start, at the top at every countries government level with our music, the romanticism will always be in the music, that is apart of our language. The ballads are housebreakers; the dance numbers are full of drums and rhythms that is strength. Every song has its own personality, different sound, rhythm, and fusion. Whether a person comes from India or Mexico, each person has a common interest Music: so we add many influences. Our statement is big and loud.

Bob

How do you deal with hype?

Homeboy

The music unites countries and generations. People come up to us and say how groovy we are, and how groovy the music is. We can be flying so high on that buzz, so it is important to keep our feet on the ground, spiritually, eager to be grounded. For us it is all about personal evolution controlling our highs, controlling our insecurities and music evolution giving it ALL on stage and for the camera and public.. We are very faithful to who we are our beliefs. Some of us are Church goers, some of us believe in god we dont attend church regular, we all come from different backgrounds, religion is not what makes us gel, it is about being open and honest with each other, placing differences aside, we are family. A few of us listen to Salsa, Berleto, to Janet Jackson to Pavarotti, to Gloria Estefan.

Bob

What rewards do you get from this band?

Susan

Started in Latin America and then went to Europe, helped to get to know our selves better. In this career, we have met many people Rodney Jerkins, Robi Rosa, and Emilo Estefan where we exchanged ideas. Homeboy and I have lived in three different counties, England, America, and Mexico. We want to be number 1 in 25 countries, if we have to sing in Chinese, Korean, Japanese we love it, as well as our own native Puerto Rico Spanish and English languages. Being a recording star or a TV star (still trying) is all about having the acceptance of your peers, the respect of the industry and fans here in America and abroad. It motivates us. The opportunity to travel to countries, meet many people, understand their way of living is what I like. We when we go into the studio it is go go go. Lets do it again, if it is not right, lets get it perfect until we have communicated our best, talking about culture is our island.

'Friends' Forecast

October 17, 2002

If it's Thursday, it's "Friends" night on NBC. In tonight's episode, Monica (COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE) tells Joey (MATT LeBLANC) that she will not help him objectify women -- that is, until she sees one at Central Perk with a great booty.

Joey, who is still trying to get over his love for Rachel (JENNIFER ANISTON), gets lucky and winds up dating the beauty Hayley (SUSAN WARD, "Sunset Beach"). Joey's confidence soars when she invites him back to her apartment, and they seem to be hitting it off. But later, he gets a blow to his ego when she doesn't remember that they previously did the horizontal mambo. How could she forget a night of passion spent with the lovable galoot? It's beyond Joey's comprehension.

Meanwhile, Phoebe is having dating problems of her own. She is worried that her current boyfriend, Mike (recurring guest star PAUL RUDD), will dump her, and her fears escalate when Ross (DAVID SCHWIMMER) makes a foolish comment or two.

In the meantime, Monica jets to
Tulsa, OK, to surprise Chandler (MATTHEW PERRY), who is there trying to get a job done. But the surprise is on Monica when her unexpected arrival mistakenly leads her to believe that her new hubby has a sexual fetish for sharks.

Tune in to ET tonight for a sneak peek
